I was quickly admitted and surprised to learn that I had a pneumonia. It really laid me low and required lots of IV fluids and IV antibiolics. I gradually improved and was well enough to leave the hospital six days later. I can't say enough good about the care I received in the hospital -- the nursing, the medical care, the CNAs, the dining service -- all were first class.
I was delighted by the many cards I received, a couple of which I have reproduced here.
This and the cards below brought me greetings from so many of my Highlands "family" |
I was especially pleased that so many of the waitstaff sent their good wishes |
I have been told that Louise Cornman was the stimulus behind at least one of these cards |
I'm improved and ready to leave the hospital and return to Jean and The Highlands |
